Scatter brained
So, I was reading over my blog and I noticed it is all stream of consciousness and doesn't really flow well. I promise I'm not that bad of a writer. Perhaps I am just tired and trying to make sure I hit all the highlights so I have to go fast so I don't forget. I don't know how Jacob wrote so ingeniously on those plates. They were metal, so they were quite difficult to write on, so he had to hit only the important parts, just like I'm trying to do. However, he did a much better job than I am doing. His sentences made sense and they actually flowed. So this is my public apology about my crazy writing. I swear I'm not on any illegal drugs, just exhaustion, stress, and chocolate bunnies.
Utah- still the place
I have about 90 pictures from Utah. No exaggerations there. I didnt have the time, effort, or space to put them all up so you can see them if you ever come to visit me. It was a really fun trip. Unfortunately, tomorrow is my last day of spring break and will be spent doing laundry and homework. I think I am going to like BYU in the fall.
Day 1 in Utah
This is what we did Wednesday. First, we gave up our seats because they overbooked,so we went to another flight that got there later and we got vouchers. Anyways, once we got there we went to Temple Square. It was pretty cool. The Conference Center is HUGE! It was really exciting. I could stay on the roof all day. For dinner we went to the world famous Chuck-a-Rama. After that we were exhausted so we went back to the hotel and slept. Throughout the trip dad kept showing me two mountains in particular. The one that was by where he used to live- from his side it was Mt. olympus but from his cousins it was Twin Peaks. It only looked like one mountain peak until you got to the other side, then it looked like two. The other mountain is Mt. Timpanogas. It was named after a princess because it looks like someone laying down or something. I dunno. Dad seemed to be fascinated with them both though.
Day 2 in Utah
It was pretty cold Thursday. We had our tour of BYU on a golf cart with warm blankets. It was AMAZING! I can't wait. Later that day, mom stayed at the hotel and studied while dad and I went skiing. Dad is pretty good on the bunny hill! Once we got on the bigger hill, it was pretty entertaining. He pretty much fell 2 sec. after being up there. Of course, he blamed it on the altitude. He sat there for quite some time and told me to go ahead. As he was telling us about it later,(and chastising us for having our phones off since he tried to call numerous times, he told us that he heard a voice from above asking if he needed help. It was just a guy on the ski lift though. A lot of ppl asked him if he needed ski patrol. I sat waiting for him at the bottom for quite some time. I saw ski patrol going up and just knew it was for him. But, fortunately it wasn't. You see that little black dot in the movie?Thats dad walking down the hill. It was great fun. I loved it!!!! He will be teased forever more about that "voice from above". When we got back to the hotel he had trouble walking, which of course we made fun of him for that. Then we went swimming and for a walk along the Provo river...until we ran into a gang.
Day 3 in Utah

Daddy's old house. He used to bike everywhere as a kid. And he also went a lot of place s grandmother told him not to go. But, I would assume you could all presume that about him.
The other house with the big tree is Grandmother Ellis' old house. Dad said it seemed like forever to get there as a kid. Friday was the tour of dad's old life. We also went to the cemetery. We were looking for Grandmother Ellis' grave and Hinkley's as well, but we did find Kimball's. It was really cool and as I stood there taking the picture of the grave I knew he was a real prophet of God. We went to the This is the place monument. There was a lot to see there. It was pretty interesting. Those pioneers had a hard trek. After that we were pretty starved so we ate at some Texas steak place. They have some work to do if they want to be more authentic. First of all, they need to say yall instead of you guys. Secondly, they need to have Texas size portions. It was just little snack. But after that, we went to visit Aunt Diana. She is pretty cool. She looks just like Grandmother. It was fun to visit with her. We had to rush over to Nancy's but we did get to visit her for a few minutes before we had to rush to the airport to catch our flight. Overall, it was a really good trip and it got me really pumped up for BYU. I love Utah. I didn't want to leave. It is so pretty.

Acceptance
I know I dont get on very much, so you have prolly stopped looking, but if you are reading thins, apparently you still have faith in me to keep you updated. So, for all of those of you who dont know already....I was accepted to BYU. Contrary to popular belief, I am excited. Many ppl said i didnt sound excited, but i am. So ya that is about it for my life right now. I pretty much dont know who I will vote for yet, but I do know who I will not vote for. Some people just dont seem to possess common sense. It's quite sad really.
